Ultherapy is the FIRST and ONLY FDA approved, non-invasive lift for the face, brow, chin and neck

Ultherapy at dr LASER

It’s a non-surgical facelift! No needles, no downtime and no unnatural substances.

We are proud to offer to our clients the latest state-of-the-art non-surgical, no down time, skin lifting and tightening procedure called Ulthera. For the first time ever, Ultherapy enables our certified nurses to direct sound waves not only into the skin but deep under the skin to the same tissue treated in surgery. This gently heats the tissue to lift and tighten loose skin without cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin.

Results, Results, Results

Improvements include a sleeker, more defined jawline and tighter skin on the neck under the chin. Sagging skin on the cheeks can be tightened and lifted, which in turn can improve folds from the nose to mouth, folds from the mouth to jaw, and drooping corners of the mouth. Tightening of skin on the forehead can reduce the sagging skin on the eyelids and promote a more open, refreshed look in general. Overall improvements in skin texture and evenness of color — as well as strengthening and adding more collagen “cushion” — can be additional benefits.

Why the great reviews? Because truly dramatic results are seen by most patients such as toning of the jawline and brow and lifting of the skin on the chin and neck. See for yourself!:

What You Need To Know About Ultherapy:

No Downtime

The Ultrasound technology has been used for over 50 years and is widely known to be safe. The FDA cleared this procedure in 2009 after clinical studies and more than 100,000 treatments have been done on patient worldwide. Every Ultherapy practitioner has extensive training and state-of-the-art tools, so you can schedule your Ultherapy treatment with dr LASER with complete confidence.

A full face and neck treatment session takes approximately 45-60 minutes, a treatment of lower face and neck takes approximately 30 minutes, and treating one area at a time takes between 15 and 30 minutes. Exact timing will depend on the size of your treatment area and the treatment plan determined by your practitioner. You won’t receive any specific after-care requirements since there is no downtime or damage to the surface of your skin – you can resume your normal activities immediately.

What Makes Ultherapy Effective?

Ultherapy uses a beam of low-level heat for approximately 20 milliseconds, in combination with a vibration of ultrasound waves that cause “damage” to the deep tissues of your skin. The body responds to this “injury” by contacting the tissue structures and jumpstarting a collagen-building process. In other words, your body’s response to this heat and vibration energy is to stimulate the growth of fresh, new collagen, which slowly lifts the skin back to make it look more youthful.

Before Your Ultherapy Procedure

You need not take any special preparation measures, however, your treatment practitioner may suggest that you take over-the-counter or prescribed pain medication prior to the treatment, depending on your pain sensitivity or tolerance.

During Your Ultherapy procedure

After you cleanse your skin and work with your practitioner to identify and mark the specific areas you want treated, an ultrasound gel will be applied in order to help the energy conduct more efficiently. The smooth Ulthera handpiece will move over your your skin and the focused ultrasound energy within the tissue below to stimulate collagen growth.

The Ultherapy procedure is not very comfortable and involves brief, painful moments as the energy is being delivered, especially over bone. As mentioned, your practitioner will discuss options for making the experience as comfortable as possible.

After Your Ultherapy Procedure

Nearly all Ultherapy patients are are able to return to their normal activities right away. Some experience flushing or redness longer than others, but generally redness will disappear within 2-4 hours. Slight swelling for a few days is not uncommon.  Some patients are lucky enough to see nearly immediate tightening of their skin, but usually it takes a few months (as few as 2 or sometimes up to 6 months) to see the full benefits since your body’s collagen-building process is similar to muscle-building during periods of more exercise.

Frequently Asked Questions about Ultherapy

Who Is A Good Candidate For Ultherapy?

A good candidate for Ultherapy is someone with skin that has “relaxed” to the point of looking, and often feeling, less firm. A lowered brow line or sagging skin on the eyelids, for instance, is often the first sign of “maturing” skin. While it does not duplicate the results of surgery, Ultherapy has proven to be an inviting alternative for those who are not ready for surgery.

Can Ultherapy Replace A Facelift?

Ultherapy is not a “face lift,” nor is it a replacement for surgery. It is a strong option for those not ready for surgery and/or those who want to extend the results of cosmetic surgery.*

How much does it cost?

Typical Ulthera treatments range from $1,000 to $3,500 depending on the area being treated. Treatment areas can include, eyes, forehead, mid face, full face & neck, neck and /or chest.

Are There Side Effects?

You may experience slight redness following the treatment, but that should subside within an hour. A small percentage of patients may have mild swelling, tingling or tenderness to touch, but these only last for a couple of days, at most. The possibility of other post-procedural effects are extremely rare, and your practitioner will inform you prior to treatment.*

Does It Hurt?

Ultherapy can cause some discomfort as the ultrasound energy delivered through heat and vibrations, but any pain or discomfort is temporary. It is also an indication that your body has begun the natural collagen-building process. If you have high pain sensitivity, your practitioner may recommend either over-the-counter or prescription medication to mitigate any discomfort. *

When Will I See Results?

Most Ulthera clients report an immediate improvement in overall appearance, but full results take 2-3 months as the collagen needs this time to fully develop. Some benefit from more than one treatment.
As with any non-invasive procedure, Ulthera results will not be as dramatic or as long-lasting as facial surgery. However, most clients report results lasting anywhere from 9-15 months.

How Long Will My Results Last?

In most cases, Ultherapy patients see significant improvements and more elastic collagen for up to a year following the procedure, but Ultherapy cannot prevent skin from aging or gravity from taking its toll. No anti-aging procedures — even face-lifts — will give you permanent results. Touch-up treatments can help keep pace with the aging process, which varies by individual.*

Will I Need More Than One Treatment?

Most patients need just one treatment; however, some benefit from more than one. It largely depends on your skin’s laxity and your body’s biological reaction to the ultrasound and collagen-building process. Your practitioner will recommend an appropriate treatment plan based on these factors.*
